Information regarding private flu clinics 2023

Clinics will be by appointment only – PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PRIVATE CLINIC THE COST OF WHICH IS £16.99 PER VACCINE.  IF YOU’RE AGED 50 YRS OR OVER, YOU’RE ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE VACCINATION ON THE NHS AND WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE A LETTER IN THE NEAR FUTURE INVITING YOU TO AN APPOINTMENT.

Clinic requirements:

The following rules will apply to all clinics:

• Do not attend the clinics if you are suffering from any of the COVID-19 symptoms, or feel unwell – there will be options to book other clinics at a later time;
• Clinics will commence week beginning 9th October 2023, and will be by appointment only as highlighted above;
• All bookings will be made via practice website;
• Please come prepared to be able to bare your arm quickly i.e. short sleeves below tops that can be easily removed.  Unless there are mobility issues, patients will be vaccinated in a standing position and there will be little or no privacy; therefore please bear this in mind to ensure you come wearing appropriate clothing.  This unfortunately is a pre-requisite to ensure that we can maximise the number of appointments offered in a safe environment;
• Do not attend any more than 5 minutes before your allocated appointment time as this may mean you will have to wait outside the Practice where there will be limited shelter.  This is necessary to allow us to ensure we comply with social distancing requirements;
• Please attend your appointment alone unless you require the assistance of another to enter and exit the Practice;
