Mrs Clair Todd – Treatment Room Nurse

BSc (Adult Nursing) with distinction

I was born and grew up in Livingston and remained there until 2012 when I moved to North Lanarkshire to settle and have a family. I always dreamed of being a nurse from a young age having been told I had such a caring nature; however, I chose to gain life experiences in the first instance working for an international bank which allowed me to travel within the UK and as far afield as India to train others in my specialism. I thereafter signed up to life in an academic environment attending the University of the West of Scotland, graduating in 2019.

I previously worked in NHS Lanarkshire in Monklands University hospital before taking up a post in the community nursing team within NHS Lothian thereafter joining Murieston Medical Practice in 2022. I enjoy getting to know our patients, and providing them with the best possible care I can where I find that no two days are the same here and that is what I love about my job.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and labradoodle, going to live music events and some well deserved rest in the sunshine.
